Every day that we were in New York I felt like it was jam packed full of amazing things! This day was definitely a crazy fun day that literally felt like 3 or 4 days in one haha. Once again, we enjoyed a slow morning chillin at the Vereen residence and then finally got to the city around noon. Our first stop was Shake Shack, and it changed our lives haha! Let me just say, not all burgers are created equal. This burger was heaven sent!!! The bun just melts in your mouth and oh my gosh it was freakin amazing! If you live in New York and haven’t gone, you must!! Or if you are ever in an area with a Shake Shack you NEED to go!!
After lunch we went over to Rockefeller Plaza. We had an appointment to go to the observation deck and we were so excited! Before we went up we got to see the ice rink where so many movies have been filmed. It would have been cool to see the huge Christmas tree, but I guess we will have to go back to see it! We also zipped over to St. Patricks Cathedral. The architecture was unreal, it was a total humanities class flash back. It was absolutely beautiful! Finally it became time for our appointment and the Top of the Rock did not disappoint, even the elevator ride up was sweet! I honestly felt like we were on top of the world! Even the pictures don’t do it justice. You need to make it a part of your bucket list and go and see for yourself. We had a blast up there and were acting like little kids. Bryant kept putting the moves on me today! In every pic he was kissing me or dipping me, you’ll see!
Reagan fell asleep so we were able to cruise and see a bunch more stuff. We hit up Times Square and saw all of its madness. The vibe was like a mix between Hollywood and Vegas, lots of people and lots to see. We walked around for a little bit and then made an appearance in front of the ” LOVE sign” and of course displayed a little affection!
We headed to Central Park to meet up with Shane. Holy, Central Park is HUGE!! You seriously need a whole day there! On our way we saw the Plaza Hotel and of course I was quoting “Home Alone” for about 15 minutes. We got to see all of the horses that were pulling carriages. Reagan was in love with them! We strolled around and took pictures of course while we were waiting for Shane. Once we met up with him we did things a little backwards. We went to Dylans Candy Bar and then we went to dinner. Oh well, who said dinner needed to be first! That candy store had everything you could ever want, and we pretty much did get whatever we wanted.
This was a very successful day for us. We got to check a lot of things off of our bucketlist! Has anyone gone to any of these places? If so, comment below and tell me your experience! Thanks for reading!
