Now that are back from our trip, reality has set in and we realized Halloween is only a week away! Today we made sure that we hit up the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. Now that we are a little family you have to have family traditions (and keep them). There were some pretty good choices to pick through but we had to make sure we looked at all they had, just to be sure we were picking the best of the best! Okay maybe I needed to look at all of them haha because I’m pretty sure the first one Reagan saw, she wanted!

We went through the corn maze which was really fun! We let Reagan pick which way she thought was the right way, sometimes she was right and other times we had to backtrack a bit! Her and I would run ahead and hide to try and scare dad.  He caught on and even caught us by snapping a pic of us trying to scare him haha. After goofing around for quite a while we finally made it out of the corn maze.

Next was the tractor ride that took us around the whole farm. Okay, it was more like a little loop but none the less we rode around the farm. There were rows of sunflowers that were so pretty! Besides all the dust that was being kicked up it was a pretty peaceful ride around the patch.

We got to pet the goats and look at the “ducks” which were really chickens, but thats what Reagan kept calling them. Then she even got to pretend to drive her own tractor. We were really channeling our inner farmer. We all picked our pumpkins, and some little ones for the centerpiece of our table, and we got out of there right when they closed!

What are your fun traditions around Halloween? Hope you all have a fun week!

XOXO
